The 1 in 8 ride is a cross country motorcycle ride for breast cancer awareness along the Lincoln Highway from San Francisco to New York City. I will travel approximately 2900 miles and pass through a total of 12 states, 128 counties, and over 700 cities

and towns. The main goal of the ride is to raise awareness. I will be making my 2008 Harley Davidson bright pink as well as sport bright pink riding gear. One in Eight women will get some form of breast cancer. My hope is that people will see me on the road and that will encourage them to go get a breast exam.

 

My departure date is Thursday 10/1/2015 to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month. I also plan to make stops along the way, visiting breast cancer treatment centers delivering treats and to encourage those in the fight. I am going to try to have breast cancer survivors and those currently being treated to sign my bike. So they will be

riding with me.
