The Boob Project: "Boob Spelled Backwards Is Boob" is an

ongoing musical collaboration started by Renee, Mike

Nelson, and Irish Greg on KFOG In The Morning.

 

My son was eight at the time when Christi was diagnosed

and he wrote lyrics to a song for his mom regarding her

ongoing battle with breast cancer.

 

My son had shoved a piece of CD-shaped paper into a

CD player with the words "Boob Spelled Backwards Is

Boob" written on it. When I asked why he did it, he said

that he had a song stuck in his head called "Boob Spelled

Backwards Is Boob" and wanted to hear what it would

sound like. Thinking if he made a CD the music would

somehow appear.

 

That sparked the idea that the show would then ask all

musical guests that visited the station in 2015 to help create

the music and sing the song to create my sons idea into

reality. A love song from a son to his mom who is battling

breast cancer.

 

When the song is completed it will be released and sold to

raise funds in the fight against breast cancer. The release

date has been set for October 1, 2015 to coincide with

Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
